Animated GIFs of Nanoblock Pokémon

Introduction

How I created these animations (except for “building Vaporeon”):

  1. I built Pokémon from Nanoblock construction kits. (They're sold by at least Fantasiapelit in Finland.)
  2. I used voxel2scad.py at my isometric graphics project to create OpenSCAD files from the Pokémon.
  3. I opened the Pokémon in OpenSCAD, set them at each angle with the $vpr command and took screenshots.
  4. I cropped the screenshots with batchcrop.py in my pixel art utilities.
  5. I created animated GIFs from the screenshots with GNU Image Manipulation Program.
